The aim of the Level 4 Diploma in Psychology qualification is to provide learners with a specialist programme of study that provides a depth of knowledge and understanding of key aspects within the field of Psychology. Learners will be introduced to historical and contemporary approaches to psychology, including biopsychology, social and developmental psychology, attachment theories, human memory processes, and contemporary research and investigation methods.

The overall aims of the Level 5 Diploma in Psychology qualification is to provide learners with a specialist programme of study that provides a depth of knowledge and understanding of key aspects within the field of Psychology. The Level 5 units allow learners to specialise and progress in a variety of relevant subject areas and focus on how our understanding of psychology is applied today.

Progression routes: QUALIFI Level 6 Diploma, University to complete a First Degree, Employment in an associated profession.
The Extended Diploma is a combination of both the Level 4 and Level 5 Diplomas. All aims and outcomes are duplicated. Completing the Extended Diploma has a value of 120 credits, equivalent to a Foundation Degree, and as such allows access to the final year at one of our University partners for a related Honours Degree.

The aim of the Level 7 Diploma in Psychology is to provide learners with an understanding of the main cognitive functions such as perception, executive functions, language, attention, and their role in psychology. Learners will develop practical skills for a career in psychology.
